| 1 | Turn steering wheel (2) to center position. | ||
| 2 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery. | AR54.10-S-0003E | |
| 3 | Punch through access openings (3) on steering wheel (2) using a hexalobular external profile screwdriver T20. | When removing the airbag unit (1) for the first time. | |
| 4 | Using hexalobular external profile screwdriver T20, release retaining clamps (4) on both sides through access openings (3) and remove airbag unit (1) from steering wheel (2). | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector (5). | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
