	Remove/install
1	Move seat backrest on respective front seat (1) to upright position.
2	Retract head restraint all the way.
3	Move steering wheel all the way up and to the front.	If the front seat (1) on the driver's side is removed.
4	Move front seat (1) all the way back and to the front.
5	Tighten screws (2).	Screw/bolt, seat to seat console	*BA91.10-Z-1001-01KOJ
6	Move front seat (1) all the way to the front.
7	Tighten screws (3).	Screw/bolt, seat to seat console	*BA91.10-Z-1001-01KOJ
8.1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).	Model 447.6/7, 448.7 except code SH1 (Thorax/pelvis side-impact airbag, driver) except code SH2 (Thorax/pelvis side-impact airbag, front passenger) Model 447.8, 448.8 except code SA3 (Center airbag)
8.2	Remove ground line of battery.	Model 447, 448 with code SH1 (Thorax/pelvis side-impact airbag, driver) Model 447, 448 with code SH2 (Thorax/pelvis side-impact airbag, front passenger) Model 447.8, 448.8 with code SA3 (Center airbag)	AR54.10-S-0003E
9	Release and disconnect electrical connector (7).	Model 447 with code ZU7 (National version for Canada) Model 447 with code ZU8 (National version for USA)
10	Release and disconnect electrical connector (4).
11	Release and disconnect electrical connector (6).	Model 447, 448 with code SF1 (Driver's seat electrically adjustable) Model 447, 448 with code SF2 (Electrically adjustable co-driver's seat)
12	Expose electrical wiring harness (5) on front seat (1).
13	Remove front seat (1) and carefully remove from vehicle.	Carefully remove front seat (1). Otherwise, component parts in the vehicle interior may be damaged. Aid of helper required.
14	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
15	Check front seat (1) for proper operation.	Scope of function test depends on equipment installed.
16	Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.	Model 447, 448 with code SH1 (Thorax/pelvis side-impact airbag, driver) Model 447, 448 with code SH2 (Thorax/pelvis side-impact airbag, front passenger) Model 447.8, 448.8 with code SA3 (Center airbag) When replacing the front seat (1).
