	Remove/install
1	Buffer basic data of the instrument cluster (1) in the diagnostic system.	When replacing instrument cluster (1).
		Transfer buffered data to instrument cluster (1). Remove diagnostic device.	AD00.00-S-2000-04E
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
3	Move steering wheel to rear and down.
4	Remove trim from instrument cluster (1).	Do not completely remove trim.	AR68.10-S-1551E
5	Remove instrument cluster (1).	To do so, remove instrument cluster (1) from retaining clamps (3) and pull toward rear until electrical connector (2) is accessible. Ensure that guides of instrument cluster (1) are seated correctly in openings (arrows A). Check retaining clamps (3) for damage. If damage is found, ↓ Replace damaged retaining clamps (3).
6	Remove instrument cluster (1).	For this purpose, release and disconnect electrical connector (2).
7	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
8	Carry out function test of instrument cluster (1).
