Remove/Install Trim On Instrument Cluster - AR68.10-S-1551E

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Move the steering wheel all the way back and downward. Model 447.6/7 with code CL1 (Height and rake adjustable steering wheel)

2 Mask off the instrument panel in the area of the trim (1.1). IMPORTANT To prevent damage when detaching the trim (1.1).  
3 Remove the trim (1.1). IMPORTANT To do so, unclip the trim (1.1) from the instrument panel.
Only loosen the trim (1.1) because it can be removed only together with the steering column trim (1.2).
IMPORTANT Model 447.6/7
Model 448.7 with code XM7 (MOPF II)
Installation:  Make sure that the trim (1.1) is seated correctly.
Model 447.6/7
IMPORTANT Model 448.7 except code XM7 (MOPF II)
Installation:  Make sure that the trim (1.1) and extension (3) of the reset button (2) are seated correctly.
SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge

4 Remove the trim (1.1). IMPORTANT To do so, lift the steering column trim (1.2), unclip it in the direction of the arrow and remove it together with the trim (1.1).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure correct seat of steering column trim (1.2).
 
5 Install in the reverse order.
