Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte or absorption of lead through the skin or body orifices. Risk of death  due to voltage U >= 30 V AC and U >= 60 V DC.	No fires, sparks, open flames, or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing, and glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition, remove transmitter key and store it outside of the transmission range (min. 2 m).
2.1	Release catch hooks (arrows A) at side of driver's side seat box and remove cover (1).	Model 447.6/7
2.2	Unclip storage compartment (1.1) at side of driver's side seat box starting at top and remove.	Model 447.8
3	Release clamp screw of ground line (2) from negative terminal of auxiliary battery (G1/1).	Bolt, ground line to negative terminal for on-board electrical system battery/additional battery	*BA54.10-Z-1001-01KOF
4	Remove vent hose (7), remove fuse holder (5) and place to one side.	Model 447.8 with code XM0 (Facelift) and with code ZK7 (MARCO POLO equipment line)
5	Remove holder (6) together with starter battery cutoff relay (K57/1) and pull out auxiliary battery (G1/1) until ground line (2) on negative terminal of auxiliary battery (G1/1) is accessible.	Model 447.8 with code XM0 (Facelift) and with code ZK7 (MARCO POLO equipment line)
6	Remove ground line (2) from negative terminal of auxiliary battery (G1/1).
7	Install in the reverse order.
