	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory	Use XENTRY Diagnostics - version 05/14 with all relevant and updated add-ons or a higher XENTRY Diagnostics - version. The operation steps must be performed exactly as per XENTRY Diagnostics. If XENTRY Diagnostics is already connected to the vehicle, continue with operation step 3.	AD00.00-S-2000-04E
3	Connect battery charger
		During the entire work procedure a sufficiently large voltage supply must be provided for the vehicle's on-board electrical system. Otherwise any undervoltage that occurs may damage the control units. Use the charger to ensure that an adequate power supply (min. 12.5 V) is provided for the on-board electrical system battery. 4	Program software for radio (Audio/COMAND) (N87/6)	To do this, select menu item Control units view RD - Radio (N87/6) Adaptations Control unit programming should be selected. The control unit programming sequence updates the Digital Owner's Manual (DiBa). For this, the diagnostic unit requests additional data media: Use Regio ECU Software DVD as of XENTRY Diagnostics Version 05/14 edition 03/14 (HLI 000 000 19 32) or a higher XENTRY Diagnostics version Digital Owner's Manual Software DVD edition 06/14 (A 447 584 50 00). Always use the most up-to-date versions of the DVDs. Model 447.8 with code EG9 (Garmin MAP PILOT) After conducting the operation steps it may be that the software releases for the radio control unit (Audio/COMAND) (N87/6) and the Garmin® MAP PILOT are no longer compatible with each other. If the message "The navigation software on the memory card is obsolete. Please update the navigation software." appears, an update to the latest navigation software must be made over the Mercedes-Benz Accessories Homepage (http://shop.mercedes-benz.com ) (see the brief audio overview and the operating instructions for the Garmin® MAP PILOT). The update for the navigation software is free of charge and it has to be conducted by the customer himself. Please advise your customers about this situation.
