| 1 | Attach diagnostic system, read out and buffer basic data of radio (1). | When replacing the radio (1). | |
Then remove diagnostic system. |

| 3 | Remove retaining clip (4) and remove electrical wiring harness (5). | Model 447.8, 448.8 |

If damage is present, ↓ replace the retaining clip (4). |

| 4 | Tighten screws (2). | ||
| 5 | Remove radio (1) until electrical connectors (6, 7) are accessible. | To do so, remove radio (1) from guide pins (3) and pull towards rear. To do so, unhook radio (1) upwards at guides (9) and pull towards rear. Installation: Make sure guide pins (3) are seated correctly on radio (1). Installation: Make sure radio (1) is correctly seated in guides (9). |

| 6 | Release U-shaped strikers (8) and disconnect electrical connectors (7). | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connectors (6) and remove radio (1). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| Check | |||
| 9 | Perform function check of radio (1). |
