	Remove/install
1	Commission control unit (1) using diagnostic system.	If the control unit (1) is being replaced.
		Remove diagnostic system.	AD00.00-S-2000-04E
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
3	Remove left cover under instrument panel.	Model 447.6/7 with code LC7 (Front footwell illumination), model 447.8, 448	AR68.10-S-1500E
4	Unhook air duct (6) from instrument panel.
5	Remove control unit (1) from holder.	To do so, release locks (2).
6	Pull control unit (1) downwards slightly until electrical connector (3) is accessible.
7	Disconnect electrical connector (3).	To do so, release U-shaped striker (4) and detach electrical connectors (3).
8	Remove control unit (1).	To do so, release and disconnect electrical connectors (5).
9	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
10	Perform function test of control unit (1).
