	General information on checking/correcting headlamp adjustment		AH82.10-P-1000-01A
	Adjust
1	Drive vehicle onto setting station for headlamp adjustment.

2	Check exterior lighting for proper operation.
			AP82.10-S-8251E
		If a component part of the exterior lighting is defective: ↓ Redress cause of defect.
3	Check vehicle for loading.	If the vehicle is loaded: ↓ Unload vehicle.
4	Check and correct tire pressure of front and rear wheels.

5	Adjust inclination of front fog lamps (5) on scale of headlamp adjuster (1) to value "2%". Notes on determining headlamp aiming values	Observe operating instructions for the headlamp adjuster (1).	AH82.10-P-1005-01A
6	Switch on front fog lamps (5).
7	Check setting of front fog lamps (5).	The light/dark boundary of the light beam must lie on the horizontal separation line (4) in the headlamp adjuster. If the light/dark boundary of the light beam does not lie on the horizontal separation line (4) in the headlamp adjuster, ↓ correct the setting by turning setting screw (2) using a suitable screwdriver (3). The setting screw (2) can be accessed through the opening (arrow) in the bumper.
8	Switch off front fog lamps (2).
9	Restore original load condition.	If the vehicle was unloaded beforehand.
10	Drive vehicle off setting station for headlamp adjustment.
