	Check
1	Check left and right parking lights successively for proper operation.	Check with ignition switched off. If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
2	Check hazard warning lights and associated indicator lamps for proper operation.	To do so, operate hazard warning light system switch (3). If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
3	Switch on ignition.
4	Check standing lights, tail lamps, license plate lamps and associated indicator lamps for proper operation.	To do so, operate light switch (1). Depending on the equipment installed, additional lamps (e.g. side marker lamps) may also be installed, and they too should be checked for proper operation If a defect is present: ↓
		Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
5	Check low beams and associated indicator lamps for proper operation.	To do so, move combination switch (4) to center position (A) and operate light switch (1). If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
6	Check headlamp range adjustment for proper operation.	Model 447, 448 except code L45 (Multibeam LED with high beam assist plus) except code LG2 (LED Intelligent Light System) To do so, turn headlamp range adjuster (6) in stages, then turn to position "0". If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
7	Check high beams (B) and associated indicator lamps for proper operation.	If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
8	Check headlamp flasher (C) and associated indicator lamp for proper operation.	If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
9	Check rear fog light and associated indicator J lamp for proper operation.	To do so, move light switch (1) to "AUTO" or "low beams" position and operate rear fog lamp switch (5). If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
10	Check fog light and associated indicator lamp for proper operation.	Model 447, 448 with code L16 (Fog lamps Halogen) Model 447, 448 with code L45 (Multibeam LED with high beam assist plus) Model 447, 448 with code LG2 (LED Intelligent Light System) To do so, move light switch (1) to "AUTO" or "low beam" position and combination switch (4) to center position (A). If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
11	Switch off lights.
12	Check left turn signal light (E) and right turn signal light (D) and respective associated indicator lamps successively for proper operation.	If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
13	Check backup lamps for proper operation.	If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
14	Check brake light for proper operation.	If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
15	Operate parking brake.
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
16	Start engine.	Model 447 with engine 254, 274, 622, 651, 654 Model 448
17	Check daytime running lamps for proper operation.	Model 447 except code LW1 (Omission of daytime running lamps) Model 448 To do so, move light switch (1) to "AUTO" position. If a defect is present: ↓ Determine cause and rectify fault. After obtaining special order.
18	Switch off ignition.
