	Risk of accident  when commissioning the vehicle due to a lack of braking effect when the service brake is operated for the first time after repair work.	Before starting the engine, actuate brake pedal several times until pressure is built up and maintained in the brake system.	AS42.50-Z-0002-01A

	Remove
1	Activate brake lining change mode.		AR42.10-S-1710-01E
2	Remove respective rear wheel.		AR40.10-S-1100E
3	Remove respective brake hose.		AR42.10-S-0025E
4	Disconnect electrical connector (5) of the parking brake actuator motor.
5	Unscrew screw (4) and disconnect electrical connector of the brake lining wear sensor.
6	Remove brake lining wear sensor from brake caliper (2).	To do so, remove electric line of brake lining wear sensor from brake caliper (2).
7	Unscrew screws (1) and remove brake caliper (2) from brake caliper support (3).	Dispose of screws (1) properly.
8	Remove parking brake actuator motor from brake caliper (2).	When replacing brake caliper (2).

	Clean
9	Clean brake caliper (2) and the areas that are soiled due to the brake fluid that has escaped.	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A

	Check
10	Check condition of pistons, cover cap and brake hose of brake caliper (2).	If damage exists, ↓ replace brake caliper (2) or brake hose. If brake caliper (2) is replaced, ↓ replace brake caliper support (3). Screw, rear floating caliper carrier to semi-trailing arm	*BA42.10-Z-1003-12KOJ
	Install
11	Screw in new screws (1) and attach brake caliper (2) to brake caliper support (3).	Screw, floating brake caliper to floating caliper carrier	*BA42.10-Z-1002-12KOJ
12	Attach brake lining wear sensor to brake caliper (2).	To do so, attach electric line of brake lining wear sensor to brake caliper (2).
13	Connect electrical connector of brake lining wear sensor.
14	Screw in screw (4).	Bolt, brake wear indicator wiring harness to floating caliper	*BA42.10-Z-1004-12KOJ
15	Connect electrical connector (5) of parking brake actuator motor.
16	Install brake hose.		AR42.10-S-0025E
17	Attach rear wheel.		AR40.10-S-1100E
18	Deactivate brake lining change mode.		AR42.10-S-1710-01E
19	Bleed brake system.		AR42.10-S-0010E
	Check
20	Perform brake test on test stand.
	Brake test		AP42.00-S-4290E
