Remove/Install Sliding Door Bottom Carriage - AR72.16-S-7844E

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1.1 Remove fuse 74 on left electric sliding door Model 447.7/8, 448.8 with code T56 (Electric operation of sliding door on left)
If the lower carriage (5) is removed on the left electrical sliding door.
 
REFER TO BASIC KNOWLEDGE Assignment of right footwell firewall fuse and relay module   GF54.15-S-1256-39TRA
1.2 Remove fuse 311 on right electric sliding door Model 447.7/8, 448 with code T55 (Electric operation of sliding door on right)
If the lower carriage (5) is removed on the right electrical sliding door.
 
REFER TO BASIC KNOWLEDGE Assignment of fuse and relay module, right A-pillar   GF54.15-S-1256-38TRA
2 Remove cover (1) on lower sliding carriage (5) Model 447.7 with code T14 (Active lock, load compartment sliding door)

3 Unscrew bolts (6) and remove arrester (7) Model 447.7 with code T14 (Active lock, load compartment sliding door)
Model 447.8, 448
 
4 Unclip cable (2) from bracket (arrow) and unhook from arrester (7) Model 447.7 with code T14 (Active lock, load compartment sliding door)
Model 447.8, 448
When replacing lower sliding carriage (5).
 
5 Mark installation position of lower sliding carriage (5) on mount (4)    
6 Secure sliding door against falling down IMPORTANT Aid of helper required.  
7 Remove bolts (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, lower carriage to mount *BA72.16-Z-1006-01KOJ 
8 Separate lower sliding carriage (5) from mount (4) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Align lower sliding carriage (5) at markings on mount (4).  
9 Remove lower sliding carriage (5) from bottom guide rail for sliding door INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check rollers on lower carriage (5) for damage.
For damage

Replace lower sliding carriage (5).
 
10 Install in the reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
11 Check active actuator of sliding door for proper function Model 447.7 with code T14 (Active lock, load compartment sliding door)

12 Check gap dimension "DC" and transition between sliding door and front door IMPORTANT The sliding door contour must align with the front door contour or project by a maximum 1 mm.
HAND-HELD TESTER Adjust gap dimensions
*BE60.00-Z-1004-01KOJ 
    SPECIAL TOOL Feeler gauge
In the event of complaints

Adjust lower sliding carriage (5).
