| 1 | Commission ambient lighting control unit (N162). | If the ambient lighting control unit (N162) is replaced. | |

| 3 | Remove front door sill on passenger side. | AR68.30-P-4100ME | |
| 4 | Remove front floor covering on passenger side. | AR68.80-P-0008ME | |
| 5 | Remove air ducts (1). | ||
| 6 | Remove trim at bottom of B-pillar. | AR68.30-P-4700ME | |
| 7 | Fold back floor covering (2). | ||
| 8 | Unclip expansion rivets (3). | Fig 1 | |
| 9 | Remove air duct (4). | ||
| 10 | Unscrew nuts (5). | ||
| 11 | Remove the cover (6). | ||
| 12 | Unclip ambient lighting control unit (N162) and release and disconnect electrical connectors from ambient lighting control unit (N162). | ||
| 13 | Install in the reverse order. |
