	Remove/install
1	Move steering column forward and all the way up.	When removing the front seat (1) on the driver's side.
2	Move front seat (1) to the rear and all the way down.
3	Remove bolts (5).	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01T
4	Remove covers (4).
5	Move front seat (1) forward and all the way up.
6	Unclip trim (6) towards rear and remove.		AR91.10-P-1200ME
7	Remove bolts (3) from guide rails.	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01T
8	Remove covers (2).
9	Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery (G1).		AR54.10-P-0003ME

11	Tilt back front seat (1).	Ensure that lock pins of guide rails in vehicle floor are seated correctly.
12	Release and disconnect electrical connectors and pneumatic lines from the underside of the front seat (1).	The number of electric lines and connector couplings varies depending on the vehicle equipment involved.
13	Cover up center console, door sill and door sill.

14	Remove front seat (1) from vehicle.	Carefully remove front seat (1) from vehicle. Otherwise, vehicle component parts may become damaged. Aid of helper required.
15	Put down front seat (1) and secure it against falling over.
16	Install in the reverse order.
