| 1 | Remove rear wheel. | AR40.10-P-1102A | |
| 2 | Release pressure from air suspension bellows (4) using vehicle diagnosis system. | ||

| 3 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 4 | Release rear fender liner in area of electrical connectors (1) and push to the side. | AR88.10-P-1302FR | |
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connectors (1). | ||
| 6 | Unhook electric lines (2) from holder and place to one side. | ||
| 7 | Remove pressure line (5) on air suspension bellows (4) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs. | Fig 4 | |
| 8 | Remove trim at spring link (6). | ||
| 9 | Remove shock absorber (7) at spring link (6) and push outward in lower area. | AR32.25-P-0110FRX | |
| 10 | Disconnect electrical connector (3). | ||
| 11 | Unhook electric line (8) from holder (9). | ||
| 12 | Carefully pull air suspension bellows (4) downward on their upper plastic frame until air suspension bellows (4) release from retaining clip. | Do not completely compress or extend air suspension bellows (4) Otherwise, damage will occur to air suspension bellows (4). |

| 13 | Remove air suspension bellows (4) toward rear. | Carefully remove air suspension bellows (4). Otherwise, the protective boot of the air suspension bellows (4) will be damaged. |

| 15 | Check condition of air suspension bellows (4). | There must not be any intrusions on the protective boot. Otherwise, the air suspension bellows (4) will be damaged by the spring motion. |

| In the event of a problem, ↓ Replace air suspension bellows (4). |

| 17 | Position air suspension bellows (4) with centering (arrow) at spring link (6). | Do not completely compress or extend air suspension bellows (4) Otherwise, damage will occur to air suspension bellows (4). |

| 18 | Position air suspension bellows (4) at retaining clip. | Do not completely compress or extend air suspension bellows (4) Otherwise, damage will occur to air suspension bellows (4). |

| 19 | Hook electrical line (8) into bracket (9). | ||
| 20 | Connect electrical connector (3). | ||
| 21 | Attach shock absorber (7) to spring link (6). | AR32.25-P-0110FRX | |
| 22 | Attach trim to spring link (6). | ||
| 23 | Remove all stop plugs. | ||
| 24 | Attach pressure line (5) to air suspension bellows (4). | The thread on the connection for the pressure line (5) may not be damaged. Otherwise, leaks will occur. |

| If thread is damaged, ↓ Repair connection of pressure line (5). |

| 29 | Build up pressure in air suspension bellows (4) using vehicle diagnosis system. | ||
Build up pressure in air suspension bellows (4) as per specifications. Otherwise, the air suspension bellows (4) will suffer initial damage and later fail. |
