| 2 | Remove mid-range speakers (H4/3, H4/4, H4/80, H4/81). | ||
| 3 | Remove outer sealing rail (3). | ||
| 4 | Remove inner sealing rail (2). | Fig 1 | |
| 5 | Affix tape (5), as shown, parallel to window guide rail. | Where side window (1) is reused. | |
| 6 | Remove grommets (4). | ||
| 7 | Manually close rotary tumbler at door lock. | Door lock can otherwise be damaged. |

| 8 | Unscrew screw/bolt (6). | ||
| 9 | Release screw (7). | ||
| 10 | Remove side window (1) from rear door. | ||
| 11 | Unclip bracket (8) at side window (1) and remove. | When replacing side window (1). | |
| Install | |||
| 12 | Attach bracket (8) to side window (1). | When replacing side window (1). | |
| 13 | Insert side window (1) into window channel and align with window guide rail. | ||
| 14 | Screw in screws (6, 7) up to end stop. | ||

| 18 | Install inner sealing rail (2). | ||
