| 1 | Remove cover of mirror triangle in front area of outer sealing rail (3). | Fig 1 | |
| 2 | Remove outer sealing rail (3). | ||
| 3 | Remove front door trim. | AR72.10-P-6575FR | |
| 4 | Remove grommets (5). | ||
| 5 | Raise side window (1) to topmost position so that screws (6, 7) can be accessed through access openings. | ||
| 6 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connectors at front door control unit and move door trim out of working area. | ||
| 8 | Affix tape (4), as shown, so that flush with inner sealing rail (2) on side window (1). | ||
| 9 | Release inner sealing rail (2) up to mirror triangle. | Carefully lift inner sealing rail (2) out of fold of inner door panel. Otherwise the inner sealing rail (2) can be damaged. |

| 10 | Unscrew screw/bolt (6). | ||
| 11 | Release screw (7). | ||
| 12 | Remove side window (1) from front door. | ||
| 13 | Unclip bracket (8) at side window (1) and remove. | When replacing side window (1). | |
| Install | |||
| 14 | Attach bracket (8) to side window (1). | When replacing side window (1). | |
| 15 | Insert side window (1) into window channel. | ||
| 16 | Screw in screws (6, 7) up to end stop. | ||

| 18 | Install inner sealing rail (2). | ||
| 19 | Slide side window (1) forwards until tape (4) is, as shown, flush with inner sealing rail (2). | ||

| 21 | Remove tape (4). | ||
| 22 | Install grommets (5). | ||
| 23 | Install outer sealing rail (3). | ||
| 24 | Install cover of mirror triangle. | ||
| 25 | Lower side window (1). | ||
