Remove/Install Front Door Panel - AR72.10-P-6575FR

Model 257, 290

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Completely open front door.    
2 Completely open side window.    
3 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
4 Remove screw/bolt (2).    
5 Remove cover (3) and remove screw located underneath. SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
6 Grasp door stowage compartment (6) in outermost area at front and rear (arrows a) and detach door trim (1) via a sudden pull from front door. NOTES
Detach door trim (1) by hand.
Door trim (1) can be damaged if a tool is used.
IMPORTANT Ensure that the front door is held in open position when pulling.
Helper required
 
7 Unclip remaining retaining clips of door trim (1) up to internal sealing rail (arrow A).    
8 Carefully remove door trim (1) from internal sealing rail (arrow B) starting from front up to release knob (7).    
9 Detach door trim (1) (arrow D) and carefully remove from front door in the area of door lock (arrow C).    
10 Remove door trim (1) from front door until electrical connectors and wire of door handle (4) can be accessed.    
11 Detach wire of door handle (4) from mount.    
12 Release electrical connectors from front door control unit and disconnect.    
13 Release and disconnect electrical connector on speaker.    
14 Remove door trim (1).    
15 Install in the reverse order.
