	Remove
1	Remove front passenger door.		AR72.10-P-0500FR
2	Mark installation position of front passenger door hinge leaf (1.1) and A-pillar hinge leaf (1.2).
3	Remove door sill trim
4	Remove glove compartment.		AR68.10-P-1402FR
5	Remove upper insulation insert (3).	The top insulation insert (3) is inserted into the A-pillar before the nuts (4).
6	Unscrew nuts (4) at A-pillar, release A-pillar hinge leaf (1.2) and remove.	To release nuts, additionally use a socket wrench extension with a length (a) ≥ 250 mm and a flexible-head socket wrench. Long wedge	Fig 1
7	Remove seal under A-pillar hinge leaf (1.2) from A-pillar.
8	Clean A-pillar in area of hinge support.	Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
9	Remove screws (2) and remove front passenger door hinge leaf (1.1).
	Install
10	Align front passenger door hinge leaf (1.1) by means of the previously applied markings on front passenger door and tighten screws (2).	Screw/bolt, hinge to front door	*BA72.10-P-1001-01W
11	Align A-pillar hinge leaf (1.2) with seal by means of the previously applied markings and tighten nuts (4).	A socket wrench extension with a length of ≥ 250 mm (a) and a flexible-head socket wrench are additionally required for the tightening procedure. Helper required for exact positioning and holding of A-pillar hinge leaf (1.2). Nut, hinge to A-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1002-01W
12	Install front passenger door.		AR72.10-P-0500FR
13	Open and close front passenger door.	The installation position of the passenger door may change later due to opening and closing.
	Check
14	Check gap dimensions at front passenger door, adjust if necessary.		AR72.10-P-0552FR
	Install
15	Repair paint damage at respective bolt heads.
16	Protect front passenger door and A-pillar in the area of hinge against corrosion.	Wax for engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
17	Install upper insulation insert (3).
18	Install glove compartment.		AR68.10-P-1402FR
19	Install door sill trim.
