	Remove
1	Completely open side windows on the driver's door and front passenger door.	The side window on the driver's door and front passenger door must be completely open. Otherwise the carbon roof (1) is pressed toward the outside by the air pressure that occurs in the vehicle interior when closing a door during the curing time of the adhesive.
2	Remove headliner.		AR68.30-P-4300FRX
3	Mask off all paint surfaces adjacent to the carbon roof (1) with protective foil.	Protect paint surfaces against damage and contamination. Otherwise scratches or score marks as well as contamination when applying the adhesive material will occur when cutting the adhesive seams or when removing or inserting the carbon roof (1).

4	Open the trunk lid and unclip and remove the trim of the trunk lid hinges (2).	Mounting wedge	Fig 1

	Preparation
6	Prepare mating surfaces on the vehicle for the carbon roof (1).	Before starting work, all component parts, materials, and tools must be prepared for installing the carbon roof (1). Otherwise it may not be possible to maintain permissible processing and joining times.	AR65.10-P-1000-08FRC
