	Remove
1	Remove rear cover at cylinder head.		AR01.30-P-5702MSC
2	Move camshafts to basic position.		AR05.20-P-6010MSC
3	Mark exhaust camshaft camshaft positioner (2) with exhaust camshaft locking pin (5b).	Assembly tool	Fig 3
4	Remove exhaust camshaft control valve (4).	The exhaust camshaft control valve (4) has left-hand thread.

5	Remove exhaust camshaft camshaft positioner (2).
	Install
6	Install exhaust camshaft camshaft positioner (2).
7	Wet thread and bolt head contact surface of the exhaust camshaft control valve (4) with engine oil.
	Specified engine oils (service) - Overview		BB00.40-P-0223-02A
8	Tighten exhaust camshaft control valve (4).	Tighten exhaust camshaft control valve (4) uniformly without interruption with specified torque. The exhaust camshaft control valve (4) has left-hand thread.

9	Remove the camshaft's fixing device.	Locating tool	Fig 2
10	Remove exhaust camshaft locking pin (5b).	Assembly tool	Fig 3
11	Turn engine in direction of engine rotation by two revolutions and set piston of cylinder 1 to ignition TDC.	Turn engine only in the direction of engine rotation. Engine damage will occur otherwise. The TDC marking on the vibration damper must match with marking on crankcase.

13	Install rear cap on cylinder head.		AR01.30-P-5702MSC
