	Remove
1	Remove right high-pressure line.		AR07.03-P-1002MNP
2	Remove right air filter housing.		AR09.10-P-1152MNP
3	Remove bleed line (2) of the oil separator from the right cylinder head cover and place to one side.
4	Remove soundproofings of rail (4).
5	Remove right low-pressure line from the cylinder head cover and remove high-pressure fuel pump.		AR07.03-P-1121MNP
6	Disconnect engine wiring harness.		AR15.18-P-1000-06XGC

7	Remove bolts (1).	Unscrew screws (1) alternately by half a revolution in each case. Start in the center of the rail (4) and work outward. Otherwise, damage to the rail (4) will occur.
8	Remove clips (11).
9	Remove rail (4) from the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.	Record plug	Fig 2
10	Mark fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) relative to the respective cylinder.	When reusing the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4).
11	Pull fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) out of the cylinder head and seal injector shaft holes with suitable stop plugs.		AR07.03-P-0004-03MM

	Check
12	Check fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) for external damage.	When reusing the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4). If damage is present, ↓ replace respective affected fuel injector.
13	Check connection of the fuel line on the rail (4) for damage.	If the connection on the rail (4) is damaged, ↓ replace rail (4).

	Install
15	Read off injector injection quantity adjustment coding on the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) and note down.	When installing new fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4).
16	Clean fuel connections on the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4).	For cleaning the fuel connections, hold downwards. Otherwise, the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) will fail. If the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) are replaced, install them immediately after removing the transport protective cap. Leaks can occur otherwise.

17	Install new sealing packages of the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) on the rail (4).		AR07.03-P-0004-02MM

	Clean
19	Assign fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) to the respective cylinders and clean injector shaft holes.	When reusing the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4), insert them into the cylinders, in which they were previously installed. Engine damage can occur otherwise.
20	Install fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) on the rail (4) and fasten them with clips (11).	Install clips (11).
21	Insert rail (4) with the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1 to Y76/4) into the right cylinder head.
22	Tighten screws (1).	Screw in screws (1) alternately by half a revolution in each case. Start in the center of the rail (4) and work outward. Otherwise, damage to the rail (4) will occur.
