- Unclip retaining clip (3).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector of cylinder 2 intake CAMTRONIC actuator (Y49/11).
- Release and disconnect electrical connection of CAMTRONIC actuator for exhaust cylinder 2 (Y49/12).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector of CAMTRONIC actuator for exhaust cylinder 3 (Y49/13).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector of CAMTRONIC actuator for exhaust cylinder 3 (Y49/14).
- Remove screw/bolt (1)

- Release and disconnect electrical connectors of the fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4).
- Remove screw/bolts (2)
- Release and disconnect electrical connector from right fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/1).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector from right exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/7).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector from right intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/5).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector from right exhaust camshaft adjustment solenoid (Y49/7).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector from right intake camshaft adjustment solenoid (Y49/5).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector of right charge air temperature sensor (B17/15).
- Release and disconnect electrical connector of right throttle valve actuator (M16/61).
- Connect in reverse order.
