	Remove/install
1	Open the cover on the armrest in the center console (3).
2	Remove the felt lining in the stowage compartment.
3	Remove nuts (6).
4	Place the floor covering on the driver side/front passenger side to one side and unscrew the bolts (7).	Screw/bolt, instrument panel crossmember to transmission tunnel	*BA68.10-P-1003-01B
5	Unclip and remove floor mats in the rear passenger compartment.
6	Disassemble front seats and tilt to the front.		AR91.10-P-1000ME
7	Remove lower parts of the B-pillar trim.		AR68.30-P-4700ME
8.1	Remove rear folding seat backrests.	Model 167.1 except code 567 (Vario rear seat) Model 167.3 Right folding rear seat backrest	AR91.12-P-1722ME
		Middle folding rear seat backrest	AR91.12-P-1723ME
8.2	Remove seats in the rear passenger compartment.	Model 167.1 with code 567 (Vario rear seat) Model 167.9 except code M036 (Maybach version)	AR91.12-P-4026ME
8.3	Remove seat adjustment units of rear seats.	Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version)	AR91.12-P-0010MEM
9	Remove rear center console.	Model 167.9 with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) with code M036 (Maybach version)	AR68.20-P-2020MEM
10.1	Remove rear seat in 3rd seat row.	Model 167.1 with code 847 (3rd seat row)	AR91.12-P-0007ME
10.2	Detach seat cushions of rear seats of 3rd seat row at front, fold upwards and fix in place.	Model 167.9 with code 845 (Electrically folding 3rd seat row)	AR91.12-P-0007MEX
11	Pull out the floor covering (2) in the rear passenger compartment below the front floor covering (arrows A).	Ensure that the floor covering (2) is seated correctly.
12	Pull out the side floor covering (2) below the trim (arrow B).	Ensure that the floor covering (2) is seated correctly.
13	Pull out floor covering (2) at rear under trim of crossmember (arrows C).	Model 167.1 except code 847 (3rd seat row) Model 167.3 Ensure that the floor covering (2) is seated correctly.
14	Lift the center console (3) and remove the floor covering (2) from the vehicle.	Ensure that the electrical wiring harnesses and the electrical connectors are routed correctly on the floor covering (2). If this is not observed, noises may arise and damage may occur. Helper required. Ensure that the floor covering (2) is seated correctly.

15.2	Remove stop plugs of rear floor covering (5) at crossmember of 3rd seat row.	Model 167.9 with code 845 (Electrically folding 3rd seat row) Dismantling tool	Fig 1
16	Pull out rear floor covering (5) at side under trims and remove from vehicle.	Model 167.1 with code 847 (3rd seat row) Model 167.9 with code 845 (Electrically folding 3rd seat row) Ensure that rear floor covering (5) is seated correctly.
17	Check for correct seat of condensation drain hoses at rear air-conditioner housing and at body opening.	Model 167 with code 582 (Air conditioning, rear)	AR83.30-P-5200-03A
18	Install in the reverse order.
