Remove/Install Rear Engine Mount - AR22.10-P-1160MRD

  Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove center and rear sections of lower engine compartment lining. Model 257 AR61.20-P-1105FR
Model 213, 238 AR61.20-P-1105LWE
2 Support transmission (4).    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 11 62 00 Major assembly mount   WS01.00-P-0092B
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 10 62 00 Support plate   WS26.00-P-3309B
3.1 Remove screws (1a) Models 213, 238, 257 except code M005 (4MATIC)  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Models 213, 257 except code M005 (4MATIC) Rear engine mount to engine support *BA22.10-P-1004-03N 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 238 except code M005 (4MATIC) Rear engine mount to engine support *BA22.10-P-1004-03O 
3.2 Remove engine carrier (2). Model 213, 238, 257 with code M005 (4MATIC)  
      AR22.10-P-4360MRD 
4 Lift transmission (4) somewhat. Models 213, 238, 257 except code M005 (4MATIC)  
5 Remove screws (1d) and remove engine mount (1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 213, 257 Bolt, rear engine mount to bracket/transmission *BA22.10-P-1003-03N 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 238 except code M005 (4MATIC) Bolt, rear engine mount to bracket/transmission *BA22.10-P-1003-03O 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 238 with code M005 (4MATIC) Bolt, rear engine mount to bracket/transmission *BA22.10-P-1003-03O 
6 Install in the reverse order.
