	Preparation
1	Prepare adhesive cartridge.		AR77.21-P-1000-01A

3	Fully open panoramic sliding sunroof.
4	Open side window in driver door.	So that the freshly glued in front stationary element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof is not pressed outwards due to the air pressure when doors are closed.
5	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
6	Remove seals (2, 3).		AR77.21-P-0560MEC

8	Mask off adjacent paint surfaces with tape.	Adhesive fabric tape	*BR00.45-Z-1062-02A

9	Cut out adhesive bead (5) for front stationary element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof and remove front stationary element (4) from the vehicle.		AR77.21-P-0803-01ME

		Before starting work, all component parts, materials, and tools must be prepared for the installation of the front stationary element (4). Otherwise it may not be possible to maintain permissible processing and joining times. Only use the repair kit approved by the manufacturer from the replacement part system. Otherwise, the front stationary element (4) and the panorama roof frame will have adhesion problems. Helper required.

		Only use the repair kit approved by the manufacturer from the replacement part system. Otherwise, the front stationary element (4) and the panorama roof frame will have adhesion problems. Use only primer fillers and primer sticks approved by Daimler AG: https://xentry.i.daimler.com

12	Apply adhesive material for front stationary element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0803-04ME

		Apply adhesive material as quickly as possible and position front stationary element (4) on the body flange and fix it in place. Otherwise, the strength of the adhesively bonded connection is impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not guaranteed.
		Only use the repair kit approved by the manufacturer from the replacement part system. Otherwise, the front stationary element (4) and the panorama roof frame will have adhesion problems. Observe the manufacturer's specifications for the curing time of the adhesive material.

13	Install front stationary element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0803-05ME
		The vehicle must not be driven for at least 10 hours after gluing in the front stationary element (4). Otherwise, the strength of the adhesively bonded connection is impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not guaranteed. To load front stationary element (4), use weights with large surfaces, e.g. sandbags. Otherwise, front stationary element (4) will be damaged. Helper required.

16	Normalize panoramic sliding sunroof with diagnostic system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function.
