	Remove
1	Fully open panoramic sliding sunroof.
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
3	Remove drip rails.		AR88.80-P-4000ME
4	Remove left and right roof railing.		AR77.40-P-5000ME
5	Remove left and right drip rail.
6	Remove rear sealing lip (2).
7	Fix seal (1) on upper windshield using suitable tape.	In order to prevent damage.
		Adhesive fabric tape	*BR00.45-Z-1062-02A
8	Mask off wind deflector with inner front seal towards inside.	In order to prevent damage.
		Adhesive fabric tape	*BR00.45-Z-1062-02A
9	Mask off adjacent paint surfaces using suitable tape.	To prevent damage during cutting.

	Risk of injury due to snapping or warming up of cutting wire and due to splinters when cutting out glued panoramic roofs	Wear cut-proof gloves and safety glasses.	AS77.21-Z-0002-01A

10	Cut out adhesive bead (3) of front fixed element (4) and remove.		AR77.21-P-0803-01ME
		Aid of helper required. Commercially available devices/tools Oscillating saw with a round saw blade

11	Prepare front stationary element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof for installation.		AR77.21-P-0803-02ME
		Only use the repair kit approved by the manufacturer from the replacement part system. Otherwise, adhesion problems will occur. Aid of helper required.

12	Prepare body flange for front stationary element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof for installation.		AR77.21-P-0803-03ME
		Only use the repair kit approved by the manufacturer from the replacement part system. Otherwise, adhesion problems will occur.
	Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling vapors or swallowing adhesive. Risk of injury caused by adhesive coming into contact with skin and eyes	Wear respiratory protection, protective gloves and safety glasses. Pour adhesive into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.	AS00.00-Z-0016-01A
13	Apply adhesive material for front stationary element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof.

		Apply adhesive material as quickly as possible and position front fixed element (4) on body flange and fix it in place. Strength of adhesively bonded connection will otherwise be impaired and the required adhesion of adhesive material is not ensured. Only use the repair kit approved by the manufacturer from the replacement part system. Otherwise, adhesion problems will occur.

14	Install front stationary element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0803-05ME
		Do not move vehicle for at least 3 h after gluing in front fixed element (4). The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured. Aid of helper required.
15	Install rear sealing lip (2).
16	Install left and right drip rail.
17	Install left and right roof railing.		AR77.40-P-5000ME
18	Install drip rails.		AR88.80-P-4000ME
19	Remove masking tape residues.
	Finishing activity
20	Normalize panoramic sliding sunroof with diagnostic system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function.
