| 3 | Remove pulse ring (3). | The pulse ring (3) will otherwise be damaged. |

| 4 | Check the rubber lining of the pulse ring (3) for damage. | If damage is present on the rubber lining, ↓ Replace pulse ring (3). |
|
| 5 | Check end cover (5) and radial shaft sealing ring for damage. | If leakage occurs on the end cover (5) or radial shaft sealing ring, ↓ Replace end cover (5) with radial shaft sealing ring. |

| 6 | Clean contact surfaces of pulse ring (3) and clean crankshaft flange. | The surfaces will be destroyed and the pulse ring (3) and crankshaft will be unusable. Assembly cleaner |
