	Remove
1	Remove pulse ring (3).		AR15.12-P-0001MRI
2	Clean crankcase (6) and oil pan (8) in area of end cover (5).	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
3	Remove screws (4).
4	Position tool on the side cutouts of the end cover (5) and release the end cover (5) from the crankcase (6).

	000 588 00 84 00 Heat gun	Do not damage the sealing surface between the end cover (5) and the crankcase (6). Otherwise, leakage may occur. Heat end cover (5) in area of the sealing surfaces if necessary using a heat gun.	WS54.00-P-0049B
5	Remove end cover (5).	The end cover (5) and radial shaft sealing ring form a unit and cannot be separated.
	Install
6	Install new end cover (5).		AR03.20-P-3003-01MRH
