| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove radiator | AR20.20-P-3865MNF | |
| 2 | Disconnect coolant hose (1) from connection fitting (3) and place to one side | ||
| 3 | Disconnect coolant hose (2) with connection fitting (3) from coolant outlet connection (4) and remove | ||
| 4 | Disconnect charge air cooler feed line (5) on left of charge air cooler and place to one side | ||
| 5 | Disconnect return line (6) at top and place to one side | ||
| 6 | Remove poly-V belt. | AR13.21-P-0132MNF | |
| 7 | Extract oil from expansion reservoir | Fig 2 | |
| 8 | Detach high-pressure line (7) from power steering pump (13) | Before opening the power steering's hydraulic system the area around the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even minute particles of dirt, introduced into the hydraulic components, can result in malfunctions or damage to the power steering. |

| 9 | Collect escaping hydraulic fluid using rags and seal connections with stop plugs | Fig 3 | |
| 10 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (8) from refrigerant compressor | ||
| 11 | Unscrew bolts (9) from refrigerant compressor and place lines to one side | ||

| 12 | Seal off connections of lines immediately using stop plugs | Fig 3 | |
| 13 | Loosen hose clamp on return line (10) and disconnect return line (10) from power steering pump (13) | ||
| 14 | Remove screw (11) | Screw/bolt, power steering pump to carrier |

| 15 | Unscrew bolts (12) and remove power steering pump (13) towards the front | Screw/bolt, power steering pump to carrier |
