WARNING Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors from an air conditioning system containing R134a. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid R134a refrigerant and when working on pressurized parts Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated rooms. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been evacuated. AS83.00-Z-0006-01A
Risk of fire  due to ignition of R1234yf refrigerant on hot components. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with escaped R1234yf refrigerant and when working on pressurized parts. Risk of explosion  due to formation of ignitable refrigerant/air mixtures Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated rooms. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been evacuated.   Analyze
3 Analyze refrigerant in A/C system Model 463 (except 463.270/271) as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019
with code Y65 (Alternative refrigerant)

REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 10 82 00 R1234yf air conditioning service unit IMPORTANT The refrigerant analysis must be performed using an analysis device integrated into the air conditioning service unit or an external analysis device with data transfer to the air conditioning service unit.
IMPORTANT A positive gas analysis is when the greenhouse gas exhibits a degree of purity of 92 %.
After a negative gas analysis.

The gas analysis must be performed up to three times. After a third negative gas analysis, the analysis device must be verified in accordance with the operator's manual. If the analysis device is functional and the gas analysis negative, the refrigerant must be extracted from the A/C system and then be stored in a recycling vessel.
After positive gas analysis.

The refrigerant must be extracted from the air conditioning system into the internal air conditioning service unit container.

INSPECT Check
5 Check specifications for replacing fluid reservoir When one of the following conditions is fulfilled: Vehicle is older than 5 years, refrigerant is dirt-laden (color ranges from dark gray to black), A/C compressor jammed, or refrigerant circuit was damaged (e.g. after an accident).

Replace receiver/drier.
