WARNING Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors from an air conditioning system containing R134a. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid R134a refrigerant and when working on pressurized parts Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated rooms. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been evacuated. AS83.00-Z-0006-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Drain air conditioning system, then disconnect air conditioning service unit   AR83.30-P-1760GW 
2 Unscrew refrigerant lines (4) and pull out of liquid reservoir (3)    
  Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths   AH00.00-P-0015-01CW
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Compressor oils (specification 362.1) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Sealing rings must be replaced and moistened with compressor oil. BB00.40-P-0362-01A
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Line on receiver/drier *BA83.30-P-1002-01C 
    SPECIAL TOOL Open end wrench attachment, 17_mm Fig 1
3 Seal openings of refrigerant lines (4) with suitable stop plugs NOTES
The openings of the refrigerant lines (4) must be sealed.
Otherwise, penetrating dirt and moisture will damage the air conditioning system.

4 Loosen mounting clamp (2)    
5 Pull liquid reservoir (3) upwards out of the
mounting clamp (2)
IMPORTANT A new liquid reservoir (3) must be installed whenever the refrigerant circuit is opened.  
6 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
7 Evacuate air conditioning system, refill it, and then check the system to make sure that it functions correctly and does not leak   AR83.30-P-1760GW
