Remove/Install Engine Hood - AR88.40-P-3000XG

	Remove/install
1	Open hood (1), raise to vertical position, and secure.		AR88.40-P-1000XG
2	Remove electrical connectors (2) from spray nozzles together with connections (3) of hose line (4).		AR82.35-P-6970XG
3	Release hose line (4) and electrical wiring harness (5) from mounting clamps, expose, and remove from hood (1).
4	Remove support (6).	Helpers required to secure hood (1). Support	Fig 2
5	Remove screws (8) from upper parts of hinges (7) and remove hood (1).	Helpers required to secure and remove hood (1). Bolt, engine hood hinge to engine hood	*BA88.40-P-1001-01D
6	Set down hood (1) on a suitable base.	Aid of helpers is required.
7	Remove screws (9) from lower parts of hinges (7) and remove hinges (7).	Only when replacing the hinges (7). Screw/bolt, engine hood hinge to body	*BA88.40-P-1002-01D
8	Install in reverse order.
	Adjust
9	Adjust gap dimensions of hood (1) relative to front fenders, radiator grille, and windshield frame segment.		AR60.00-P-0900-01XG
		After adjustment, hood (1) must close with little resistance. Engine hood to fender	*BE60.00-P-1002-01XG
		Hood to radiator grille	*BE60.00-P-1001-01XG
		Hood to windshield frame segment	*BE60.00-P-1003-01XG
