| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||

| 4 | Remove on-board electrical system battery | Model 238.4 with code B01 (48V technology) If holder (5) is installed. |

| 5 | Unscrew bolts (1) and remove holder (2) | Model 238.4 with code B01 (48V technology) If holder (5) is installed. |

| 6 | Unscrew nuts (3), unscrew bolts (4) lift up holder (5) together with the mounted control units and place to one side | If holder (5) is installed. | |
| 7 | Unscrew nuts (6) | ||
| 8 | Lift up bracket (7) together with mounted control units far enough to gain access to the rear SAM control unit (N10/8) | ||
| 9 | Detach all electrical connections from rear SAM control unit (N10/8) | ||
| 10 | Unscrew bolt (8) | ||
| 11 | Move rear SAM control unit (N10/8) out of bracket (7) and take off | ||
| 12 | Install in the reverse order |
