| 1 | Commission rear control unit (N22/6) | When replacing the rear control unit(N22/6). | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
| 3 | Remove trunk recess cover | AR68.30-P-4600LWO | |
| 4 | Remove on-board electrical system battery | Model 238.4 with code B01 (48V technology) If holder (5) is installed. |

| 5 | Unscrew bolts (1) and remove holder (2) | Model 238.4 with code B01 (48V technology) If holder (5) is installed. |

| 6 | Unscrew nuts (3), unscrew bolts (4) lift up holder (5) together with the mounted control units and place to one side | If holder (5) is installed. | |
| 7 | Disconnect all electrical connectors on rear control unit (N22/6) | ||
| 8 | Release rear control unit (N22/6) from holder (6), move it out and remove it | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 10 | Normalize rear window lifter |
