| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||

| 3 | Remove bolts (5). | ||
| 4 | Remove control unit bracket (8) far enough from device installation slot to gain access to electrical connectors (3, 4) at rear of head unit (A26/17). | ||
| 5 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4). | ||
| 6 | Remove bolts_(7). | ||
| 7 | Remove head unit (A26/17). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 9 | Perform commissioning of head unit (A26/17). | If the head unit (A26/17) has been replaced. | |
