| 3 | Remove bottom slide rail (11) with retaining clip (12). | If drive gears (13, 15) were twisted toward each other without timing chain (2) and are no longer on ignition TDC of cylider 1: ↓ Determine position of cam of high-pressure fuel pump and adjust if necessary. |

| 4 | Check bottom slide rail (11) with retaining clip (12) for wear, galling, and damage. | If damage is present: ↓ replace bottom slide rail (11) with retaining clip (12). |
