| 1 | Remove right cylinder head cover. | AR01.20-P-5012MNA | |
| 2 | Remove left cylinder head cover. | AR01.20-P-5013MNA | |
| 3 | Remove camshaft positioner for right exhaust camshaft. | AR05.20-P-7204MNA | |
| 4 | Remove camshaft positioner for left intake camshaft. | AR05.20-P-7204MNA | |
| 5 | Remove slide rail pins (2). | Fig 2 | |

| 6 | Remove slide rail pins (4). | Fig 2 | |

| 7 | Pull out slide rail (1) and slide rail (3) upward. | ||
| 8 | Unclip slide rail (5) at right cylinder head cover. | ||
| 9 | Unclip slide rail (6) at left cylinder head cover. | ||
| 10 | Check slide rails (1, 3, 5, 6) for damage. | If damage occurs: ↓ Replace slide rails (1, 3, 5, 6). |

| 11 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

| 12 | Check engine oil level and correct if necessary. | ||
