4	Remove clamping device for the poly-V-belt of the alternator.		AR13.20-P-0010MNA
5.1	Attach measuring tool to bracket of tensioning device for poly-V-belt of alternator.	Engine 176 in model 463 up to model year 2019 Engine 177 in model 205
		Only turn engine at the center bolt of the crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation using the specified box wrench. Otherwise, damage to the engine or even failure of the engine may occur.	AR01.10-P-1000-01SZ

5.2	Attach measuring tool to bracket of tensioning device for poly-V-belt of alternator.	Engine 178 in model 190
		Only turn engine at the center bolt of the crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation using the specified box wrench. Otherwise, damage to the engine or even failure of the engine may occur.	AR01.10-P-1000-01SZ

6	Check whether marks are present on belt pulley.	If marks are not present: ↓ Apply markings to belt pulley of crankshaft.	AR05.10-P-7806-01MNA
7	Turn engine at center bolt of crankshaft in direction of engine rotation to 53P CKA after ignition TDC of cylinder 1.	Only turn engine at the center bolt of the crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation using the specified box wrench. Otherwise, damage to the engine or even failure of the engine may occur. 	Check
8	Check basic position of camshafts.	The edges (1a, 2a, 5a, 6a) of the partial segments of the segmented discs (1, 2, 5, 6) must be visible roughly in the middle in the openings of the position sensors of the camshafts. If the segmented discs (1, 2, 5, 6) are not standing centrally, ↓ Turn engine in direction of engine rotation further through one complete revolution. If the segmented discs (1, 2, 5, 6) are still not standing centrally in the openings of the position sensors of the camshafts, ↓ Set basic position of camshafts again.

9	Install in the reverse order.
	Finishing activity
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness
