	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing engine oil	Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.	AS18.00-Z-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Remove belt pulley/vibration damper.		AR03.30-P-1600MNA
2	Remove screws (3).	Screw/bolt, front of bottom half of crankcase to crankcase	*BA01.40-P-1001-01ZA
3	Remove front radial shaft sealing ring (1) with cap (2). Notes on distribution of sealant on crankcase end cover	The front radial shaft sealing ring (1) and cap (2) form a unit and must be replaced together.	AH01.40-P-1000-09MNA
		Sealant, Loctite 5970, 50 ml	*BR00.45-Z-1013-01A

	Check
4	Check contact surface of front radial shaft sealing ring (1) at crankshaft (4) for damage.	If damage is present: ↓ Replace crankshaft (4).	AR03.20-P-4351MNA
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7	Carry out engine test run and check engine for leak tightness.
