Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 	Remove/install

		Bolt, lower charge air cooler bracket to thermostat/crankcase	*BA09.41-P-1007-01X
6	Remove holders (140, 141) upward.	Engine 177.### ## up to 081179 in model 205, 253
7	Release and disconnect electrical connector of coolant thermostat heating element (R48).
8	Unscrew screw of coolant line holder (19) on coolant thermostat (7).	M6X1	*BA00.10-P-1002-04A
9	Unscrew screws (3) and remove coolant inlet fitting (1).	Replace seal.
		Screw, coolant outlet fitting/coolant connection to thermostat housing	*BA20.10-P-1005-01ZA
10	Remove screws (4) and remove coolant thermostat (7).	Replace seal.
		Bolt, thermostat housing to crankcase	*BA20.10-P-1002-01ZA
11	Install in the reverse order.
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
13	Install the center and front lower engine compartment paneling.		AR61.20-P-1105LW
