| 4 | Remove right cover (11) | ||
| 5 | Detach coolant hoses (2, 3, 4) from radiator (1) | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
| 6 | Detach coolant hose (5) from low-temperature circuit cooler | Fig 2 | |
| 7 | Detach power steering expansion reservoir and place to one side with attached lines | Engine 276.8 in model 172 up to model year 2016 | AR46.25-P-1000W |

| 8 | Unclip refrigerant line (6) on carrier on A/C compressor | ||
| 9 | To do this press together retaining clamps (8) and unclip radiator (1) above on radiator support (7) in direction of engine | ||
| 10 | Take out radiator (1) with a helper in an upward direction | ||
| Check | |||
| 11 | Check elastomer bearings (10) for damage | If damage is present ↓ Replace elastomer bearing (10). |

| 12 | Check cooler (1) for damage | If damage is present ↓ Replace the cooler (1). |

| 13 | Install in the reverse order | ||

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself.
