	Remove
1	Shift transmission (1) into neutral position and release parking brake.
2	Perform power disconnect of high-voltage onboard electrical system.		AR54.10-P-1150LHV
3	Disconnect ground line from battery.		AR54.10-P-0003LW
4	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter.
5	Remove soundproofing.	Transmission 725.0 in model 213.050/053/054/153/155/253 with engine 274.9 except code 920 (Direct fuel injection with stratified charging)	AR94.30-P-5410MRD
6	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift.		AR00.60-P-0100CW
7	Remove center and rear lower engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105LWE
8	Disconnect ground line from transmission (1).
9	Disconnect equipotential bonding line from transmission (1).
10	Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).
11	Remove exhaust system.		AR49.10-P-7142MRD
12	Remove heat shield.		AR27.40-P-0700-01LF
13	Release and disconnect electrical connector of electrohydraulic controller unit.
14	Unclip high voltage line from vehicle floor.

16	Support transmission (1) with major-assembly support and mounting plate and strap down securely.

17	Remove rear engine crossmember.	Never use impact wrenches/drivers or compressed air tools for unscrewing the bolts. If bolts are unscrewed using an impact wrench or compressed air tool their threads will be damaged.	AR22.10-P-4360OLC
18	Remove propeller shaft from output flange.		AR41.10-P-0050LW
19	Lower transmission (1) slightly.	Do not tension electrical lines. If electric lines are stretched they will be damaged.
20	Unscrew bolt (4).
21	Remove shield (5).
22	Remove holder (10) from transmission (1) and place to one side with wiring harness.
23	Remove starter from transmission (1) and secure against falling down.		AR15.30-P-7100MRD
24	Remove bolts (2).
25	Remove transmission (1) from engine and lower until the high-voltage plug (6) is accessible.	Do not tension electrical lines. If electric lines are stretched they will be damaged.
26	Remove screw (8).
27	Remove cable duct (9) from transmission (1).
28	Remove high-voltage plug (6) from transmission (1) and cover up with protective cover.	Handle high-voltage plug (6) carefully. Otherwise the high voltage on-board electrical system may be damaged. The bolt (7) of the high-voltage plug (6) serves as an aid for pulling out and inserting, and it is permanently integrated into the high-voltage plug (6). Set of protective caps	Fig 1
29	Lower transmission (1) further and remove.
	Install
30	Clean and grease gearing of transmission input shaft.	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A

31	Lift up transmission (1) using major assembly mount and mounting plate until the high-voltage plug (6) can be mounted.

32	Mount high-voltage plug (6) onto transmission (1).	Handle high-voltage plug (6) carefully. Otherwise the high voltage on-board electrical system may be damaged.
		Bolt, 3-phase high-voltage line connecting plug to transmission	*BA08.10-P-1001-01H
33	Mount cable duct (9) onto transmission (1).
34	Tighten screw (8).	Bolt, 3-phase high-voltage line cable duct to transmission	*BA08.10-P-1003-01H
35	Lift transmission (1) further up and mount onto engine.	Do not jam any electric cables in between. If electrical lines get caught in moving parts, they will be damaged.
36	Tighten screws (2).	Screw/bolt, transmission to engine	*BA27.10-P-1001-04H
37	Mount starter onto transmission (1).		AR15.30-P-7100MRD
38	Attach bracket (10) to transmission (1).	M6X1	*BA00.10-P-1002-04A
39	Install shield (5).
40	Tighten down screw/bolt (4).	Bolt, 3-phase high-voltage line protective hoop/cable duct to transmission	*BA08.10-P-1002-01H
41	Lift up transmission (1).	Do not jam any electric cables in between. If electrical lines get caught in moving parts, they will be damaged.
42	Mount propeller shaft onto output flange.		AR41.10-P-0050LW
43	Install rear engine crossmember.	Never use impact wrenches/drivers or compressed air tools for unscrewing the bolts. If bolts are unscrewed using an impact wrench or compressed air tool their threads will be damaged.	AR22.10-P-4360OLC

45	Clip in high voltage line at vehicle floor.
46	Connect and lock electrical connector of electrohydraulic controller unit.
