| 1 | Deactivate memory package over the COMAND operating unit. | Engine 264 in model 213, 238, 257 with code 275 (Memory package) except code M005 (4MATIC) | |
| 2 | Move front wheels to straight-ahead position and fix steering wheel in place with holding device. | Do not turn steering wheel when steering coupling is disconnected. Clock spring contact will otherwise be destroyed. |
