	Remove/install
1	Deactivate memory package over the COMAND operating unit	Engine 274.9 in model 213 with code 275 (Memory package) with code M005 (4MATIC) Engine 274.9 in model 238 with code 275 (Memory package) with code M005 (4MATIC)
2	Turn front wheels to straight-ahead position and fix steering wheel in place with holding device	Do not twist steering wheel when the steering coupling was removed. Otherwise the clock spring contact will be destroyed.

8	Unclip engine management control unit with bracket and place to one side with connected lines

10	Remove coolant hose to heater cooler from bulkhead		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
11	Attach engine lifting device and raise engine		AR01.10-P-2400-17MRD
		Do not put electrical lines and hoses under tension. Otherwise damage will occur.

16	Remove engine mount (2) downwards	Always replace engine mount (2) in pairs. Observe environmental protection regulations for disposal of the engine mount (2). Dispose of engine mount (2) in mixed scrap.
17	Install in the reverse order
