Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation line to exhaust collector pipe

	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Risk of burn injuries, suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. 	Remove/install
1	Remove exhaust gas recirculation.		AR14.20-D-1050TSV
2	Remove exhaust pipe downstream of the exhaust gas turbocharger.		AR49.10-D-5532TSV
3	Raise vehicle.
4	Remove exhaust gas recirculation line (1) from exhaust manifold (2).	For this purpose, remove bolts (3, 4). Replace seal.

5	Remove clamp of the exhaust gas recirculation line (1) from the bracket.	Remove screw (5) to do this.

6	Lower vehicle.
7	Remove screw (6).	Bolt, diesel particulate filter to cylinder head holder	*BA49.20-N-1006-02TSR
7	Remove screw (6).	Set of flexible head wrenches	Fig 1
8	Remove exhaust gas recirculation line (1).	To do so, rotate the exhaust gas recirculation line (1) and remove upward. If necessary, ↓ press the diesel particulate filter slightly to the side.
	Clean
9	Clean the sealing surfaces on exhaust manifold (2).	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
10	Clean the sealing surfaces of the EGR (1).	If the exhaust gas recirculation line (1) is being re-used. Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
11	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Check for leaktightness when engine is running.	Visual inspection only.
