Remove/Install Electrical Footrest For Front Passenger Seat - AR91.29-P-0100LF

	Remove/install
1	Move front passenger seat to the foremost and uppermost position
2	Completely extend footrest (1), then move in approx. 5 mm again	The tension of the cables (18) is relieved again by moving in the footrest (1). If the footrest (1) cannot be extended any more due to an electrical defect, the left and right cable (18) is to be severed near the deflector (15). In this case the footrest drive unit (20) is to be completely replaced.
3	Remove covers (2) in direction of arrow	Do not damage cover of footrest (1). The footrest (1) must otherwise be replaced. :  Covers (2) are damaged upon removal and must be replaced.
4	Unscrew screws/bolts (3) at bottom on footrest (1)
5	Remove footrest (1)
6	Remove passenger seat		AR91.10-P-1000LF
7	Remove seat back lining		AR91.10-P-1910LF
8	Remove screws/bolts (6) at backrest frame (7)
9	Remove retaining clips (4) at mat (5)
10	Fold over mat (5)
11	Disconnect electrical plugs (8)
12	Remove seat cushion		AR91.10-P-3310LF
13	Remove backrest (9)	Set down backrest (9) on a suitable base. Otherwise the backrest (9) may be damaged. Place backrest (9) to one side with connected electrical wiring harness (14).	AR91.10-P-1060LF
14	Remove left and right inner panel (10) from seat adjustment unit
15	Unhook electrical wiring harness (14) at frame of seat adjustment unit	The electrical wiring harness (14) is subject to tensile load due to the set aside backrest (9) and is relieved by releasing the electrical wiring harness (14) at the frame of the seat adjustment unit.
16	Remove screws/bolts (11) at strut (12)
17	Remove strut (12)
18	Disconnect electrical plug (13) of right rear footwell lamp (E17/17)
19	Unhook left and right longitudinal displacement (17) from bracket	Left and right longitudinal displacement (17) must not be adjusted. Otherwise, proper operation of the mechanical components cannot be ensured.
20	Unhook left and right deflector (15)
21	Unhook left and right cable (18) from bracket (arrow A) at slider (16)
22	Unhook left and right slider (16) from seat adjustment unit
23	Unhook spring frame bracket (19) of footrest drive unit (20) from seat adjustment unit
24	Swivel footrest drive unit (20) upwards	Expose cables (18) with deflectors (15). :  Pay attention to installation position.
25	Remove footrest drive unit (20)	:  Ensure that footrest drive unit (20) is seated correctly in mounts (arrows B) a seat cushion frame. When replacing footrest drive unit (20), both cable ties are to be removed that serve as transportation securing devices.
26	Remove right rear footwell lamp (E17/17)	When replacing footrest drive unit (20).
27	Install in the reverse order
