	Backrest seat ventilation
1	Remove seat-back lining from backrest on front seat	Model 222 with code 401 (Climatised front seats)	AR91.10-P-1910LF
2	Remove backrest on rear seat	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) with code 402 (Rear seat climate control) Model 222.0/1/9 with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) with code 402 (Rear seat climate control)	AR91.12-P-1620LFA
3	Remove expansion rivet from seat-back lining on rear seat	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 402 (Rear seat climate control)
4	Unhook and remove seat-back lining on rear seat	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 402 (Rear seat climate control)
5	Disconnect electrical connector (2) from bracket (3)
6	Release and disconnect electrical connection (2)
7	Rotate housing of left front backrest seat ventilation motors (M18/10) or housing of right front backrest seat ventilation motors (M18/12) approx. 5° counterclockwise and remove from installation frame (6)	Model 222 with code 401 (Climatised front seats) Install components in correct positions.
8	Rotate housing of right rear seat backrest seat ventilation motors or housing of left rear seat backrest seat ventilation motors approx. 5° counterclockwise and remove from installation frame (6)	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 402 (Rear seat climate control) : Install components in correct positions.
9	Lift spring frame (4) with mat (5) off padding and expose electrical wiring harness (1)
10	Remove left front backrest seat ventilation motors (M18/10) or right front backrest seat ventilation motors (M18/12)	Model 222 with code 401 (Climatised front seats)
11	Remove right rear seat backrest seat ventilation motors or left rear seat backrest seat ventilation motors	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 402 (Rear seat climate control)
12	Install in the reverse order
	Seat cushion seat ventilation
13	Remove cover from seat cushion on front seat	Model 222 with code 401 (Climatised front seats)	AR91.18-P-1800LF
14	Remove cover from seat cushion on rear seat	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) with code 402 (Rear seat climate control) Model 222.0/1 with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) with code 402 (Rear seat climate control)	AR91.18-P-1850LFA
15	Disconnect connector housing (7, 8) from each other
16	Separate padding (11) using a hot-air blower in area "D" from padding (10)
	000 588 00 84 00 Heat gun	The air outlet temperature of the hot air blower must not exceed 200°C. Otherwise padding (11) or the padding (10) will be damaged and will have to be replaced. The adhesive strength of the adhesive is sufficient to secure the padding (11).	WS54.00-P-0049B
17	Lift up padding (11) and pull electrical wiring harness (9) through opening (arrow C) in padding (10)
18	Lift up padding (11) and expose electrical wiring harness (9)
19	Lift up padding (11) and remove left front seat cushion seat ventilation motors (M18/9) or right front seat cushion seat ventilation motor (M18/11) with electrical wiring harness (9) from padding (10)	Model 222 with code 401 (Climatised front seats) Install components in correct positions.
20	Lift up padding (11) and remove right rear seat cushion seat ventilation motors or left rear sea cushion seat ventilation motor with electrical wiring harness (9) from padding (10)	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 402 (Rear seat climate control) Install components in correct positions.
21	Install in the reverse order
