	Remove/install
1.1	Detach suspension strut at spring control arm (1)	Model 217 Model 222 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
		Model 217 except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))	AR32.25-P-1016LFB
		Model 222 except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC)) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
		Model 217 with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC)) Model 222 with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC)) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Model 217.4 Installation:  Observe installation position of suspension strut in spring control arm (1). Install the suspension strut at position B (arrow B). Model 217.3 Model 222 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Installation:  Observe installation position of suspension strut in spring control arm (1). 2	Unscrew nuts (2) of torsion bar linkage (3)	Model 217 except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC)) Model 222 except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))

		Nut, torsion bar linkage to wheel carrier	*BA32.20-P-1003-04R
		Nut, torsion bar linkage to torsion bar	*BA32.20-P-1002-04R
3	Pull wheel carrier (4) downward and unhook torsion bar linkage (3) from torsion bar	Model 217 except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC)) Model 222 except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))
4	Press torsion bar linkage (3) out of wheel carrier (4) and remove in downward direction	Model 217 except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC)) Model 222 except code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))
5	Unhook rear part of exhaust system and secure to prevent it from dropping down
6	Unscrew nut (5) and remove bracket with torsion bar linkage (3) from spring control arm (1)	Model 217.3, 222 Pay attention to the installation position of the torsion bar linkage (3).
		Nut/bolt, linkage to spring control arm	*BA82.10-P-1004-02F
7	Detach spring control arm (1) from wheel carrier (4)	Replace bolt. Bolt/nut, spring control arm to wheel carrier	*BA35.20-P-1002-01H
8	Detach spring control arm (1) at rear axle carrier (6) and remove	Bolt/nut, spring control arm to rear axle carrier	*BA35.20-P-1001-01H
	Check
9	Check elastomer bearing in rear axle carrier (6)	Removal and installation tool	Fig 2
		Extraction tool	Fig 1
		If the elastomer bearing is damaged ↓ Replace spring control arm elastomer bearing

10	Install in the reverse order
11	Perform wheel alignment check		AR40.20-P-0200LF
