	Remove/install
1	Remove left or right window lifter from front door.		AR72.10-P-1800LFS
2	Remove trim (2) from inside of front door in area of left or right door lock.	Replace paneling (2) on inner front door in area of door lock after removal.
3	Remove left or right outer sealing rail (4).	Carefully lift out outer sealing rail (4). Otherwise the outer sealing rail (4) will bend and need replacing.
4	Pull out window guide seal in area of B-pillar cover (3).
5	Unscrew screws of B-pillar cover (3) and remove B-pillar cover (3).
6	Remove screws (6) and remove door lock armor plate (5).	Bolt, armor plate to front door	*BA72.10-P-1009-01Y
7	Remove screws of armor plate for lock cover (8) and remove armor plate for lock cover (8).	Bolt, armor plate for lock cover	*BA72.10-P-1021-01Y
8	Fasten suitable lifting devices on front door side window (1) and remove front door side window (1) downward out of front door in direction of arrow.	Suitable lifting devices (crane, cup suction tool) and helper required to remove front door side window (1).
	Check
9	Check position of armor plate for lock cover (8) in relation to left or right front door side window (1).	If left or right front door side window (1) is replaced.
		: Position of armor plate for lock cover (8) must be checked prior to installation of new left or right front door side window (1) and adjusted if necessary.
		The course of the contour between the exterior glass and armor plate for lock cover (8) should be level and even. If position of armor plate for lock cover (8) is correct: ↓ Perform installation of left or right front door side window (1) in reverse order. If position of armor plate for lock cover (8) is not correct: ↓ Adjust position of armor plate for lock cover (8).
	Adjust
10	Adjust armor plate for lock cover (8) in relation to exterior glass position of left or right front door side window (1).	If position of armor plate for lock cover (8) is not correct: The course of the contour between the exterior glass and armor plate for lock cover (8) should be level and even. If the contour of the two parts according to graph "A" is not OK: ↓ Adjust correction by bending over armor plate for lock cover (8). If the contour of the two parts according to graph "B1" is not OK: ↓ Remove armor plate for lock cover (8), bend retaining tabs (7) in direction of front door side window (1), reattach armor plate for lock cover (8), and adjust by bending it over armor plate for lock cover (8) as shown in graph "A".
11	Install in the reverse order.
